Love would never tell you to rush, it would never pressure you, and it would never tell you that it’s not okay for you to feel how you feel. Love just waits for you patiently until you’re ready. This kind of infinite patience is also part of why love heals, because it’s quiet. No judgement, no conflict. This creates the space for the healing to unfold. Love yourself.

Accepting ourselves as we are is part of loving ourselves and love makes us strong. Acceptance may be hard to learn, but once we do, we are free to be ourselves.

Accepting ourselves completely, flaws and all, frees us to live our lives as we choose rather than being slaves to others’ opinions. Life is no longer personal because we no longer take anything personally. This is how unconditional love of ourselves frees us and makes us strong.

Agreeing with others that we are not worthy of love is part of the problem. When we love ourselves unconditionally, we don’t give people’s opinions power over us.

Is love without end possible? If love has no cause can it end?

Accepting ourselves completely, frees us to love ourselves. When we love ourselves, we automatically and naturally extend it to others. Whatever we give ourselves (love, freedom, compassion), we can now share because we have. The more we share the more we will know we have.

The best defense is one that does not oppose because it cannot be turned against us. That’s why love is the best defense. Love is so strong it does not need to oppose to be itself. It simply is.

There are so many things that can make people feel that it’s not okay to be themselves. Fear is really the main reason and can take many forms such as peer pressure, being bullied, or fear of being alone. Fear is the problem, and love is the answer.

Love is a mastery of the mind that doesn’t come through opposition or force. It comes through the gentleness of understanding.

When we refuse to allow negativity to define us, we learn and teach choosing the strength of unconditional love as the foundation of our being.

It can be challenging to love ourselves when we compare ourselves to others. Mother Teresa said “intense love does not measure”. Intense love does not compare. If we just do our best instead of comparing, we can be at peace. This means we forgive ourselves for our limitations.

Hate, indifference, or negativity of any kind is a defense against pain. When we are in a state of love, there is no suffering, and therefore no negativity.

Conformity is violence towards ourselves and arises out of fear. Love is the answer.
When we love each other, we’re not problems to each other.
